The Burmese comedy team "The Moustache Brothers" have been poking fun at the regime through political satire for 30 years.  Because of this, they have been locked up and even tortured on more than one occasion, yet they continue bringing light to the country.  Video news report:

 

I found this very odd but somewhat interesting video on YouTube.  I debated putting it up because some may think of it as a joke or something really far out there.  None-the-less, I think it's worthy of a post.  It's a woman who claims she is channelling the spirit of the recently departed General Soe Win of Burma - known as "the butcher of Depayin".  According to the video, he was quite shocked when he discovered God really does exist.  Maybe this should be viewed as a warning to the Burmese military..?

 

New video footage of the past protests that just came in on 10/10 showing soldiers beating, kicking protestors and monks.  Also it is reported that the number of monks on the street has greatly diminished.  Where are they?  The spirit of the resistance still lives however.
