Read a posting on the facebook group that Chevron deals with the regime. Here's the Burma Campaign Entry for Chevron that confirms it.
Details from the facebook group follow.
THE ACTION: Show Chevron the strength of public feeling about their ongoing investment in Burma by reducing their retail takings at the pump

THE AIM: For Chevron to commit to no further investment, and a reduction of investment wherever practically possible, in their current operations in Burma until the military rule is toppled. This will also send a message to the Junta that the world cares enough to affect their finances.

WHY IT WILL WORK: Businesses are about money. If it can be demonstrated that Chevron will lose more money at the pump or other distribution channels than they will by reducing their investment in Burma, the financial argument will be compelling.

HOW TO DO IT:
1. Don't buy your gasoline from Chevron.
2. Encourage those you know to do the same
3. Contact Chevron to express your feelings, make sure their PR department knows how many people care

THINGS TO REMEMBER:
1. Be positive and appeal to people's better nature - those listening to your message (including Chevron) will be much more likely to consider your ideas if you present them with ways to help, rather than an attack or insults.
2. Chevron's investment in Burma once the Junta are gone may be valuable to the population. Don't alienate them. They don't have to abandon their investment for good - just until the regime is changed.
