Yeah, I know it's a long shot, but it's worth a try.  The US Campaign for Burma has a petition they are asking people to sign that requests China use their leverage to bring about positive change within Burma.  China is a major piece of the puzzle folks - as long as they are supplying the munitions and trading with the regime "ain't nuthin' gonna change."
